Blue Cornbread

Ingredients
(for one 6” skillet)

  • 65g cornbread dry mix

  • 60g buttermilk

  • 35g unsalted butter (melted, room temperature)

  • 7g neutral oil of choice (no olive oil)

  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375-400 degrees (this will depend on your oven model).

  2. Whisk wet ingredients together. Add dry ingredients to wet and whisk until incorporated and there are no clumps.

  3. Grease baking pan or cast iron of choice. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown and the center is cooked through (check with toothpick). Enjoy!
